'Hi do u have the capacity?' is a land payment chat room that pulls from text messages between dyke community organizers—and otherwise besties.

Before accessing, an acknowledgment of positionality determines the experience, as Global North users will confront connection delays in respect to universal connectivity.

Referring to Andean culture, the link between server and user is established by an offering of three coca leaves to ask a favor of intangible forces in respect to resource extraction. The conversation then becomes an intimate exchange between trusting parties, where accountability is prioritized and care is cherished.

This oracle was made during the School For Poetic Computation’s class, Scripting is Scrying.

The class speculated on ways to build harmonious relationships between machines, humans and non-humans through divinational practices, and challenged the notion that computation began in the so-called Global North and that technology must be devoid of sacred principles.
