‘les be in pleasure’ is a browser-based web linking BIPOC lesbians, sapphics, and queers through moments of pleasure, joy, care, conflict & resolution, and the audacity to love each other. The collected accounts attest to our strongest feelings that challenge the modes and structures which attempt to enforce numbness. Submissions are anonymized through usernames and obscured profile pictures. IYKYK. The web takes note from ‘The Chart’ from the TV series, The L Word, and serves as a refusal to the search engines and mainstream media that censor BIPOC lesbian, sapphic, and queer eroticism. Moving across varied devices, the machine web sprawls out the user’s interaction in a mirror to queer community.
