You play as twelve year old Celine, traveling to Hawaii with my extended family – payed for by my parents who couldn’t afford to go themselves. The first level expects you to choose luxurious experiences over the affordable option (for example, dining Mahi Mahi over fish sticks) in order to unlock the next level. Once completed, players unlock the inevitable class dysphoria that haunts this seemingly perfect vacation.
Coined by Holly Marie Armishaw, class dysphoria is a mental state of unease that one experiences when they are unable to easily categorize themselves into a binary or trinary class identity
